I had a wonderful 6-day stay at Dhow Resort. The staff was extremely friendly, the place was well maintained and super clean. The location by the beach offered beautiful sunrises and soft, white sand. The kitchen served amazing dishes, including the best spaghetti with seafood. The Polish managers went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs as a vegan. a great team and a fantastic experience.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The beachfront property was an absolute delight for our business trip. Being close to the beach allowed us to take a stroll when we needed a break, and it was a treat to watch the majestic sunset every evening. The food was top-notch, especially the fresh seafood and handmade pasta which was some of the best we have had in a long time. The staff was welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that we felt at ease.
One drawback was the sand that accumulated in our room as there wasn't any housekeeping during our stay. the bathrooms lacked doors, which made it a little uncomfortable for us traveling with colleagues.

The beachfront location of the hotel is stunning and serene, with few tourists around in August. the restaurant serves fresh and tasty food, including homemade pasta and pizza. Some local restaurants nearby offer a more authentic Zanzibari experience.
The hotel staff can be unfriendly and unhelpful. They have been known to provide slow service, with one guest waiting over an hour for their food.
